In addition to the medical applications that our sensors were initially developed for, our sensors have been used to monitor pressure variation across an aerofoil, pressure transients in water and hydraulic pipelines, phase sensitive detection of acoustic signals, and for monitoring fluid levels in static and moving vessels.

Figure 2a: Video clip of a 30 element AT pressure sensing array located in the bottom of a simulated moving fuel tank. The screen in the background shows real time data of the fluid depth (inferred from the hydraulic pressure recorded at each sensor location)compensated sensors located on the upper surface of an aerofoil.
